Bettye Saylors

SOUTH PITTSBURG Bettye Rose Hill Saylors passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at a Nashville hospital.Bettye was born June 4, 1936 to to Earnest and Nettie Hill.She was born and raised in South Pittsburg. She graduated from South Pittsburg High School in 1954.Her life was full of adversity due to a car accident in 1982, which left her disabled, but she was able to live independently in South Pittsburg where she resided until her untimely death.She is survived by her family, brother, John Hill; sister, Virginia; her three children, Larry, Lisa, Linda; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.A memorial service will be held in her honor at South Pittsburg Church of Christ, at 11 a.m. Feb. 23, 2013.
