Marvin Moseley

Jr.HARRIMAN Marvin "Mo" Jennings Moseley Jr., 88, passed away Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at his home.He was the son of the late Argie Cates Moseley and Marvin J. Moseley of Chattanooga. He was a member of Kingston United Methodist Church and had served on the Official Board of St. Marks Methodist Church, Chattanooga; First Methodist, Camden, Tenn.; Broadway Methodist, Paducah, Ky.; and Kingston United Methodist Churches. He was retired from TVA after 38 years of service as a mechanical engineer with Power Production in Chattanooga, Widows Creek, Shawnee, New Johnsonville and Kingston. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a graduate of the University of Chattanooga, Class of 1950 and member of ThetaChi Fraternity. He was a life member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.Survived by wife, Florence Groover Moseley; daughters, Elizabeth Treadwell and Sarah Ann Peters; sons, Marvin III, James Milton and Thomas Daniel; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. today, Feb. 20, 2013, at Kingston United Methodist Church followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Todd Chancey and Rev.
