Basil Evans

Basil Evans passed into the presence of the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013.Basil was born in Charleston, W.Va., Dec. 30, 1916. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was a gifted architect, talented general contractor, and incredible husband and father.Basil ministered to his wife as caregiver for over 10 years.He is survived by his daughter, Bette E. Wells; and his sons, Brent Evans, Bryan Evans and Barry Evans.A celebration of his life will be held at 4 p.m. today, Feb. 21, 2013 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev.
