Edward Barton

OCOEE Edward Robert Barton, 75, a resident of Ocoee passed away at his home on Saturday morning, Feb. 16, 2013.Edward was born in North Arlington, N.J. on Jan. 28, 1938 a son of the late George and Helen Barton. Edward had lived the majority of his life in the New Jersey area until relocating to Ocoee approximately 10 years ago. Edward was a veteran of the United State Air Force and received an honorable discharge after serving his country. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revelation. Edward was an avid reader and enjoyed spending his spare time studying different theologies and comparative religions.In addition to his parents, Edward is preceded in death by two sisters, Veronica Springer and her husband, Conrad and Rita Barton; also one brother, George Barton.Edward leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 30 years, Angelina Meola Barton; one daughter, Michelle Webb, of Cleveland; two sons, Edward Barton and wife, Krisit, of Ocoee and John Barton, of Maryville, Tenn.; one brother, Lester (Rosa) Barton, of Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Rebecca Webb Sullivan and husband, Rodney and Brandon Webb and wife, Melissa, both of Cleveland; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other extended family members and friends.The Barton family invites family and friends to join them for a memorial gathering at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at the family home located at 1774 Old Federal Road in Ocoee, Tenn.You are encouraged to share a memory of Edward and/or your personal condolences with his family by visiting his memorial web page and guestbook at www.companionfunerals.com.Companion Funeral and Cremation Service and the Cody family are honored to assist the Barton family with these arrangements.
