Glenn Moreland

Glendon Stephen "Glenn" Moreland, 81, of East Ridge, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013.A native of Ringgold, Ga., he was a son of the late Lloyd and Thelma Kessler Moreland.Mr. Moreland was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked for many years with Lovemans and later Proffitts.He was an avid fisherman and loved to fix anything broken. He was a member of the Masonic Order at Crawfish Springs in Chickamauga for over 50 years.In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Ben Moreland; and a sister, Gay Martin.Survivors include his son, Steve (Kathy) Moreland; twin brothers, Ronald and Donald Moreland; several nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Woodlawn Baptist Church, Highway 301, Trenton, Ga.Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Ellis, Doug Conway, Chris Branch, Josh and Matthew Moreland, Tanner, Tucker and Trey Burger.Condolences and memories may be shared with the family by visiting www.hamiltonfuneraloptions.comArrangements are by Hamilton Funeral Home & Cremation Services; 4506 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN 37343. 423-531-3975.
