BRYANT Annie Bernice Reece Bynum, 73, passed away Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who enjoyed working in her flower gardens, canning, and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Bynum was a member of Floral Crest Seventh-Day Adventist Church and was retired from Bank of Dade after 21 years of employment.She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady Wyatt and Ruby Ree Moore Reece; her brothers, Arlon Wyatt and Bill Carlton Reece.Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, Charles Wilson Bynum; son and daughter-in-law, Robin and Tammy Bynum, of Bryant; and her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Bynum and Phil Strok, of Newport Coast, Calif.; sister, Willow Dean Shavers; grandchildren, Brett Bynum, Brandon Bynum, Briley Bynum and Matthew Strok; nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. EST Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home in Bryant, Ala., with Pastor Carlis Clinton officiating.Interment will be held in Oak Lawn Memorial Park.Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. today and noon-2 p.m. Sunday.The Bynum family request that memorial contributions be made to: Floral Crest School, 1228 County Road 89, Bryant, Ala.Please leave your memories and prayers at www.moorefuneralhometrenton.com.Arrangements by Moore Funeral Home, Bryant, Ala.
