Maxie Knight

Maxie Wayne Knight, 74, of McDonald, Tenn., passed away on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013.Mr. Knight was born and raised in Sylacauga, Ala., to Leonard and Edna Knight. He was a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church, Ed Flemings Fellowship Class, and retired from Kraft Foods as a sales representative.Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Carole J. Knight; children, Keith (Beverly) Knight, Karen (Eric) Allen and Kelly (Brandi) Knight; grandchildren, Jerry (Brandy) Knight, Tayler Knight, Madison Knight, Jessalyn Allen and Kristen Allen; great-grandchildren, Megan and Tanner Knight; and sister, Sondra (Rick) Mims, of Marietta, Ga.Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.Graveside services will be at Marble City Cemetery in Sylacauga, Ala., at 1 p.m. CST on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, with Chaplain John Adams officiating.In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Gideons International, P.O.
