Fred Andrews

Dr. Dr. Fred Andrews, 62, of Chattanooga after fighting the good fight, after finishing his course, after keeping the faith, went home to be with his Savior on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013.He was born on June 15, 1950 in Chattanooga to the late Neal T. and Ramona M. Faucette Andrews.Pastor Andrews is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Julie; daughter, April Sinclair; son, Tim Andrews; grandchildren, Megan Sinclair and Kent Sinclair, stepfather, Tom Faucette; brothers, Woody Andrews and Mark Faucette; sister, Carol Parson; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Andrews; brothers and sisters-in-law; nephew and nieces.Dr. Andrews was a graduate of Bob Jones University and Gwinnett Hall Baptist College. He earned his master and doctoral degrees in Biblical Education, Theology and Counseling. He was awarded a Doctor of Divinity for his ministry.He and his wife served 40 years in the Pastoral and Bible College Ministry. He pastured churches in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Tennessee. He taught in Bible Colleges for 15 years and served as vice-president of Gwinnet Hall Baptist College. Since 2001 he served as pastor of Calvary Independent Baptist Church and Calvary Christian School until his home going.Visitation will be in Calvary Independent Baptist Church from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, and Friday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The Rev.
