Daisy Wilbanks

LaFAYETTE Daisy Murphy Wilbanks, 97, went to her heavenly home Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at her home.Daisy was a member of Second Baptist Church of LaFayette.Preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Wilbanks.She is survived by sisters, Hazel Robertson, Chattanooga, Betty Pierce, Carlisle, S.C.; brother, Hoyt Murphy, White, Ga.; several nieces and nephews also survive.The family would like to thank the caregivers Judy Howard, Jean Edgeman, Christine Edgeman, Frances Hankins, Penny Callahan and sister Hazel Robertson, for their help in keeping Daisy at home after the passing of her husband.Funeral from the Wallis Memorial Chapel at 11 a.m. Friday. Service conducted by the Rev. Mike Peterson.Pallbearers are Tim Hankins, Jerry Hankins, Ron Noles, Sherman Wilbanks, Linnie Hawkins and Paul Smith.Honorary pallbearers are the Caregivers.Interment in Rock Spring Cemetery.Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.The arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home of LaFayette.
