WHITWELL Lassie Gay Barnes passed away on Tuesday Feb. 26, 2013, at the age of 93.She was preceded in death by husband, Shirley Barnes; parents, Fate and Dealie Morrison Kilgore; sisters, Viola Kilgore, Bobby Jean Montgomery, Nellie Mae Massingill; brothers, Keithly, Emerson, Hubert Kilgore.She is survived by sisters, Irene Hamblen, Evadene Griffith; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Special thanks to caregivers Annise Nunley and Devota Kilgore.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Hershel Powell and Ken Terry officiating.Burial will be in Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.Family will receive friends 9 -9 p.m. today.Arrangements by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Highway 28, Whitwell.
