DECHERD Willie Leon Moore, 63, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Southern Tenn. Medical Center in Winchester. Mr. Moore was born on Sunday, Oct. 2, 1949 in Winchester to the late Willie C. and late Christine (Elliott) Moore of Decherd, Tennessee. Mr. Moore was a former employee of the TVA working at the construction site of Tims Ford Dam and Normandy Dam. Preceding him in death are grandparents, Okley Elliott and Evelyn Stewart Elliott and Alfred Lee Moore and Myrtle Stevens Moore, and brother, Anthony Bruce Moore. Survivors include wife, Deborah Perry Moore, of Decherd; a daughter, Rainy Cook, of Decherd, Tenn.; sister, Judy Hill, of Winchester, Tenn.; mother-in-law, Carolyn Perry, of Madison, Tenn.; granddaughters, Heather and Lori Cook; grandson, Zachary Moore; nieces, Misty Roberts, Jessica Hill, Beverly Glasner and Delphaine Goode; nephews, Darrell Dudley, Anthony Dudley, Danny Sons, Jr. and Tracy Sons; great-nephew, Gavin Roberts; sisters-in-law, Brenda Dudley and Doris (Danny) Sons; brother-in-law, Arthur Perry and friend, Harry Griggs as well as numerous uncles, aunts, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends. A funeral service will be at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2, in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Sister Kathy Stamey officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Memorial Gardens, Winchester, TN.
