Steve H. Linder, 58, of Ooltewah, passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012. Steve was a retired engineer, employed by Duracell Batteries for 31 years.Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Susan Dickinson Lindner, of Ooltewah; sons, David Lindner, of Charlotte, N.C., Eric Lindner and wife, Jessica, of Wilmington, N.C.; daughter, Melissa Lynn; granddaughter, Mahala Lynn, of Ooltewah; parents, Wade and Irene Lindner, of Reliance. Funeral 3 p.m. Thursday at Maple Springs Baptist Church, 221 Maple Springs Road, Tellico Plains. Rev. Vernon Webb will officiate.Interment in the church cemetery.Family will receive friends noon-2 p.m. Thursday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Tellico Plains.
