Burk Hale

IIIRINGGOLD Burk Elder Hale III, 57, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013.He had lived in the North Georgia area for most of his life and was a member of Chickamauga Church of Christ. He was a Navy veteran and was a graduate of Gordon Lee High School Class of 73 and had attended UTC where he majored in music and English. He was previously employed as a Mountain Guide in Montana for 15 years and was also the owner and developer of Bionaid Silverwater and Zeoheal.He was preceded in death by his father, Burk Hale Jr.; sister, Pamela Denise Hale; grandmother, Anna Catherine Mayes; and grandparents, Burk and Addie Hale Sr. Survivors include his mother, Leona Mayes Hale, of Ringgold; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013 in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South, Mausoleum, with Ministers Shane Robinson, Robert Foster and Alfred Thomas officiating. Larry Wren, Ronnie Wren, Michael Knauff and Doug Vines will serve as pallbearers.In lieu of flowers the family asks that any donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 7020 A.C.
