Ethel Griffith Nichols, 93, formerly of Huntsville, Ala., died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, in a local healthcare facility in Collegedale.She was retired from Redstone Arsenal and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Huntsville.She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Nichols; and her brothers, John E. Griffith and J.R. Griffith, of South Pittsburg, Tenn. She is survived by one sister, Josephine G. Bristow; and several nieces and nephews.A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at Cumberland View Cemetery, South Pittsburg, Tenn., with the Rev. Al Miller officiating.
