Granville Daniel

ROSSVILLE Granville "Easy" Curtis Daniel, 76, departed this life Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013. He was born in Rossville to the late Gus and Rachel Daniel. He drove trucks for Dalton Paving, McDowell Materials, and was owner/operator of Daniel Trucking. Granville was a born again Christian and was a member of South Rossville Baptist Church where he drove the church bus for 37 years.Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Louise Brannon Daniel, of Rossville; children, Curtis (Sherry) Daniel, Jr., of Chickamauga, Regina Daniel, of Fort Oglethorpe, Nathaniel Gainer, of Ringgold, Coby Daniel Cunningham, of Rossville, Meagan Cunningham, of Chickamauga; siblings, Randall Daniel, of Rossville, Bobbie Jean Harris, of Bryant, Ala.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, in the chapel with Rev. Jeff Daniels officiating. Family will receive friends from 2-9 p.m. today and prior to the service Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and/or St. Jude Childrens Hospital. Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
