SPRING HILL, Tenn. Bruce Bernhardt "Bernie" Heiss, 50, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Maury Regional Medical Center.Bernie was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church of Spring Hill. He had 25 years service with the city of Spring Hill with the Water Department. Loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially duck hunting. He was a loving father, son, brother, and friend to all.Preceded in death by father, Paul C. Heiss Sr.; and brother, Paul C. "Chip" Heiss II. Survived by his mother, Effie Dalton Heiss; and son, Bruce Heiss II, of Spring Hill; sister, Susan (Dean) Hardison, of Chapel Hill; mother of his child, Rhonda (Ty) Campbell, of Augusta, Maine, and other loving family members. Memorial services will be held 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Rev. David Sawyer officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Spring Hill, P.O.
