Faye Ridge

Wanda Faye Ridge, 83, of Chattanooga, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013.She was born in Garrett, Ky. and was a Chattanooga resident for 67 years.Wanda was a member of White Oak Baptist Church on Memorial Drive for over 30 years and a member of the Faith Sunday School Class.Wanda was an accomplished seamstress, avid gardener, wonderful cook, and most importantly a loving Mother.Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, George Allen Ridge; mother, Eva Hoover Roberts; father, William Ward; and brother, Jimmy Ward. Wanda is survived by her son, G. Allen Ridge; sister, Debbie Vernon; granddaughters, Dana (Dustin) Brock and Jaclyn Ridge; great-granddaughter, Korie Brock; great-grandson, Michael Brock; and several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from noon to 2:30 p.m. today, Jan. 11, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral HomeServices will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at the North Chapel.
