Rev. FLINTSTONE Rev. Robert Taylor, 75, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at a local hospital.Rev. Taylor was a native of Cleveland, Tenn., and had lived in the Chattanooga and north Georgia area for most of his life. He was a retired electrician and a member of the IBEW Local 175. Rev. Taylor was an evangelist and had pastored the House of Prayer Church of God. His passions in life were God, family, friends, and picking his guitar.He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Brian Taylor; parents, Sam and Fannie Taylor; and three brothers, Herbert, Wilburn, and D.A. Taylor.Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Pat Taylor; two daughters, Belinda Lands-Hawkins (Bruce) of Rossville and Cindy Parker of Rossville; three brothers, Carl, Don, and Gene Taylor; sister, Etta Marie Grider, all of Chattanooga; six grandchildren, Craig (Michelle) Lands, Brandy (Shaun) Hollis, Kevin (Tiffany) Lands, Ronnie (Sabrina) Turnipseed, Joseph Rice, and Levi Hawkins; four great-grandchildren, Bailee Hollis, Peyton Lands, Bentley Lands, and Aubrey Turnipseed; and several nieces and nephews.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Mike Lowery and Rev.
