RINGGOLD Jessie Lou Gates Foster, 82, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday Jan. 10, 2013, at her home.Jessie was a loving mother, Grandma and friend. She was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She retired from Joseph Decosimo and Company after many dedicated years of service.She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth F. Foster; parents, Rasha and Mary Ethel Gates; sisters, Esther Plemons, Bonnie Gates, Rose Crow, Reba Burton, Dora Stapp, Ona Mae Gates; brothers Tommy Gates, Clarence Gates, Lonnie Gates and Jim Gates and a son-in-law Gary W. Swanson.Jessie is survived by her children, Janis Swanson, Kathy (Danny) Henson, Randall (Tracey) Foster and Kendall (Lori) Foster; grandchildren, Courtney Foster, Austin Foster, Candace Foster Story (Jimmy), Jenna Foster, Jordan Foster, Roxanne (John) Wood and Daniel (Brooke) Henson; great-grandchildren, Natalie and Miles Clark and Cadence and Eden Henson; brother-in-law, Glenn Foster, Dale Burton and sister-in-law Bessie Gates.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at New Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Henson officiating.
