HENDON Rosie Lee Swanner, 74 of the Hendon Community in Bledsoe County, moved to heaven on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at her home.Rosie was a long time member of Hendon Baptist Church and was a wonderful quilt maker. She also enjoyed going to yard sales and working crossword puzzles.Preceding her in death was her first husband Lloyd Swanner and second husband Bill Swanner; parents Blaine and Katie Smith; two brothers William and Clinton Smith; daughter-in-law Lisa Swanner.Survivors include children Katherine (Danny) Presley, and Roger Swanner; grandchildren Amanda (David) Skalka, Michael Presley, Brittany and Steven Swanner; two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; six brothers Marvin A., Edward, Jay, Billy, Carlos, and Ronnie Smith; sisters Anna Ruths Skiles and Suzie Keith; many nieces and nephews.Service will be Noon CST Saturday, Jan. 19, at Hendon Baptist Church with Bro.
