Marjorie Middlekauff

Marjorie Louise Middlekauff, 89, of Ooltewah, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013 in Chattanooga, Tenn. Marge is preceded in death by her Sisters Mary, Mildred and Jean, and her brother Alfred Jr. (Bubba).Marge was born in Huntsville, Ala., to Alfred and Nina Stolz on June 11, 1923. During WWII, Marge was a real-life Rosie the Riveter "Female Production Soldier" at the Huntsville Arsenal making the bombs that her future husband was dropping from his B-25. After his return, Marge met Robert W. Middlekauff at the Arsenal and they were married in Oct. 19, 1945. They celebrated their 67th anniversary in 2012.Marge is survived by her husband Bob of Ooltewah; her sister Gloria; her sister-in-law Jewel; her daughters Lynn and Robin; her grandsons Kevin, Marc and Jared; her granddaughter Caroline; her four great-granddaughters and a great-grandson. She was dearly loved by all and will be greatly missed.Funeral services will be held at Heritage Chapel on Monday, Jan. 21, at 11 a.m. with Father Mathew Thelly of St. Stephens Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood East Memory Gardens.Visit www.heritagefh.com to share words of comfort to the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer'sAssociation.
