Frances Perron

Frann Perron, 92 of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, after complications from a fall. She was born on May 24, 1920 in Brooklyn, N.Y. and raised her family on Staten Island, N.Y.Frann was fondly known as "Nan" to her family, many special friends and loved ones. Nan was beloved by everyone who knew her, as she was an attentive, caring friend. She was forever corresponding, sending cards and notes to those she cared about. For 20 years she volunteered in the Hutcheson Hospital gift shop.Frann was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Arthur; one daughter, Joann Smith and one grandson, Gerard Smith.Survivors include her son, Jim Perron (Gail); daughter, Sue Rucker Lotz (Chuck); son-in-law, Richard Smith; grandchildren, Janet Smith, Tiffany Gallina (Diego), Jinny Rucker (Mark) and Marc Milot and three great-grandchildren, Amanda, Olivia and Cole.A special celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at the Chattanooga Church, 6178 Adamson Circle, Chattanooga, TN 37416 with Pastor Morty Lloyd officiating.In lieu of flowers, donations are to be made to Annadale Village, 3500 Annadale Lane, Suwanee, GA 30024, a wonderful facility for special needs adults.
