Judy Mayse

Judith "Judy" M. Giles Mayse, of Soddy Daisy, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013. She was 69 years old.Judy was born in Cullman, Ala., and was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area. She was the bookkeeper and accountant for the family business, Mayse Construction Company. Judy was a longtime member of Middle Cross Baptist Church and she loved her church and family.She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Alexander and Myrle Griffin Giles; siblings, Art Giles, Carolyn McClain, Jackie Moore, Leona Smith, Wynell Butler and two grandchildren, Whitney and Britney Raines.Judy is survived by her husband of 50 years, William "Billy" P. Mayse; children, Bobby Mayse and wife, Becky; Todd Mayse and wife, Pamela; and Kim Hullender and husband, Matt; grandsons, Kyle Mayse, Shane Raines, Jason Mayse, Richie Womack, Austin Mayse and Will Mayse; great granddaughter, Savannah Grace Mayse; siblings, Joann Brown and Wayne Giles and wife Carol; sister-in-law, Judy Bagwell; brother-in-law, Dean Mayse and wife, Barri; many nieces and nephews; and her grandsons, girl friends, Katie Bishop and Tiffany Adams whom she loved like family.Services for Judy will be held at 2 p.m. today, Jan. 20, at Middle Cross Baptist Church, 4009 Norcross Road, Hixson, TN 37343 with Brother Ed Gravett officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Judys name to Middle Cross Baptist Church or Hospice of Chattanooga, P. O.
