ROSSVILLE Leroy "Chuck" Castleberry, 82, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013.He had lived in the North Georgia area for most of his life and was of the Baptist faith. He was an Army Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict and retired from the Tennessee-American Water Co. in 1986 after more than 35 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, camping, riding motorcycles and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a loving and devoted Dad and Pawpaw who will be greatly missed by all that knew him.He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Lucy Castleberry; and brother, Glen Castleberry.Survivors include his loving companion of 45 years, Helen Helton, of Rossville; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia (Larry) Parton, of Chickamauga, Ga., and Pam (Gary) Ball, of Rossville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Grace (Martin) Shrader, of Trenton, Ga., and Jean (Charles) Stone, of Boynton, Ga.; brother and sister-in-law, Bill (Betty) Castleberry, of Rising Fawn, Ga.; three grandchildren, Tara (Daniel) Byer, Amy Ball and Jason (Jenny) Parton; three great-grandchildren, Katie Fowler, Courtney Parton and Jacob Byer; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel.
