FORT OGLETHORPE Lorraine Armes, 78, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013.She had lived in the North Georgia area for most of her life and was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and loved her dogs. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all that knew her.She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Nina Robinson; husband, Bob Armes; and stepson, Bobby Armes.Survivors include her son, Tim Vint, of Fort Oglethorpe; two grandchildren, Hannah Vint (Coby Jarrett) and Brandon Vint (Amber Swafford); two great-grandchildren, Kolten Jarrett and Kinzie Jarrett; and her best friend, Barbara Poole.Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel. The family will begin receiving friends from 1 p.m. Saturday until the time of service at the funeral home.Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Hillsboro, W.Va.Arrangements by W.L.
