Dexter Hogsed

ROSSVILLE Dexter Leon Hogsed, 53, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013.He was born in Elijay, Ga., to the late, Farrell and Annie Ruth Hogsed, but has lived in the North Georgia area for most of his life. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all that knew him.Survivors include his loving wife of more than 35 years, Nancy Taylor Hogsed; daughter, Candise Hogsed, both of Rossville; sons and daughters-in-law, Cliff (April) Hogsed, of Chickamauga, Ga., and Wayne (Hollie) Hogsed, of Fort Oglethorpe; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert (Mary) Hogsed of Elijay, Ga., Billy (Lilla) Hogsed, of Fairmont, Ga., and Michael (Lisa) Hogsed, of Dalton, Ga.; sisters and brother-in-law, Gwen (Rick) Holcomb and Pam Johnson, all of Elijay, Ga.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clarence and Nancy Taylor; sisters-in-law, Tammy (Brian) Thomason, B.J. (Greg) Jetter and Angerleak (John) Kile; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Pastor Steve Brandon officiating.Burial will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends after 1 p.m. Sunday, all day Monday and prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
