Diane Hardesty Moore, of Red Bank, a devoted wife and mother, passed away suddenly on Jan. 18, 2013. She was born June 15, 1946, in Harrogate, England, where she later met and married Ronnie E. Moore on May 14, 1966. It is a blessing and comfort to know she has joined him in Heaven.She was a faithful member of White Oak United Methodist Church where she currently served as Lay Leader, member of the Staff Parish Committee, member of the Administrative Council, participated in the Tape Ministry, served as an Usher, and was a member of the Richard Looney Sunday School class. She was also a past member of the Choir and Finance Committee. She loved her Church family and the Lord.Diane was a loving mother who made raising her children a priority in life. She was a caring and thoughtful person, which was recognized by her many friends. It might have taken awhile to understand her English accent, but having done that, you were able to see her for the special person she truly was.She was quite the gardener, reader, loved traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with her pets, friends and family. She was also a proud member of the TBPA (Transatlantic Brides and Parents Association).She was employed throughout her life with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, HCA, American Express/Financial Advisors and Casual Corner.She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Violet Hardesty, of Harrogate, England; husband of 42 years, Ronnie E. Moore; and father-in-law, Roger Moore, of Adamsville, Tenn.She is survived by her two daughters, Mundy Moore and Laurel (Mike) Pala, of Chattanooga; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Brian Paish, of Bramham, England; sister-in-law, Juanita White, of Memphis; brother-in-law, Keaton Moore, of Baker, Fla.; mother-in-law, Marguerite Moore, of Adamsville, Tenn.; as well as nieces and nephews. Her wish was to be cremated. A celebration of her life will be held at White Oak United Methodist Church at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, with the Rev.
