Mary Rosalin Reed, 72, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013. Rosalin courageously battled Multiple Sclerosis for most of her adult life.Rosalin was born in Chattanooga on Oct. 15, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Ray A. and Corinne Bradley Bradford. Rosalin was a homemaker who loved gardening (especially houseplants), she was an avid reader, and a lover of cats. While she spoke her mind, she did so in a non-judgmental way. She loved others unconditionally. Her family will remember her as a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a member of Apison Seventh-Day Adventist Church.Rosalin is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Glenn McGrady, Cathy and Walt Mitchell, Lisa and Terry Wilt; she was preceded in death by their father, Luther A. Reed; her son, Allen Todd Reed; her granddaughter, Holly Lea Readus; her brother, David William Bradford. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Hoover; her grandchildren, Suzanne Davenport, Sarah Oliverio, Samantha Oliverio and Adam Young; four great-grandchildren; her nephews, David Hoover and Phillip Hoover.The graveside service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Plowman Cemetery.
