Sr.Desmond Quintell Brown Sr., 26, passed away Monday, June 24, 2013, in Chattanooga.He was employed at Pizza Hut on Brainerd Road, and attended Lookout Valley High School.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty Johnson, Benjamin and Bessie Brown; uncle, Johnny Brown.He is survived by his son, Desmond Brown Jr.; daughters, Jatoria Hudson and Imunique Lowery; parents, Jeanette Blocker and Willie Brown Sr.; brothers, Willie Brown Jr., Delivetrick Blocker, Delmon, Jimmy (Denise), Dominique and DeMarcus Brown; sisters, Shaniqua (Jamal) Watkins, Jasmine (Qadir) Mateen, Brieasha Brown; special aunt, Marilyn Blocker; 14 nephews; 10 nieces, aunts, uncles; and a host of cousins and friends.Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013, in the funeral home chapel.Interment: Highland Memorial Gardens.The body will lie in state after noon today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
