Parthenia FultsPALMER Parthenia McHone Fults, 94, passed away at her home Monday, July 1, 2013.She was a member of Gruetli Church of God. She was born in Whitwell, Tenn., on Aug. 25, 1918 to Harley and Mattie Shoemake McHone who preceded her in death along with her husband, Wesley Fults; son, Paul Fults; grandson, Johnathan Meadows; granddaughter, Lisa Fults; great-granddaughter, Randi LaShay Hargis; sisters, Elsie Turner and Mona Lee McHone; brother, Bill McHone.She is survived by her daughters, Zella (Horace Ray) Slatton, Linda Jones and Barbara King; sons, Melvin (Faye), Hoyt (Amy), Dave (Charlotte) and Boyd (Linda) Fults; sister, Faye Turner; brother, Harls "Jr" (Jenny) McHone; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 18 great=great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Delbert Layne and Jerry Merciers officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery.Visitation: 4-10 p.m. today at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tenn. www.laynefuneralhome.com.
