Geraldine Hamilton

ROSSVILLE Geraldine Hamilton, 81, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013 in a local hospital. She was a life-long resident of Chattanooga and was of the Baptist faith. Her passions in life were family, sewing, painting and collecting Indian memorabilia.She was preceded in death by her husband, Hester Hamilton; daughter, Charlotte Johnson; and brother, Paul Johnson.Survivors include four children, Sonny Frizzell, Nashville, Tenn., Steve Frizzell, Harrison, Tenn., Linda Herendon, Berkley, Ma., and Karen Oliver, Ringgold, Ga.; 8 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.There will be a gathering of friends and family today from 2-5 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
