LAFAYETTE Maxie Henry Stone, 70, passed away Friday, July 5, 2013. He was born to the late Bethel Lee Stone and Dorothy Louise Mullis Stone in Chickamauga. Mr. Stone was of the Baptist faith, a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Navy and he enjoyed gardening.He was also preceded in death by his Brother, Thomas William Stone.Survivors include his loving wife, Margaret Huskey Stone, of LaFayette; daughter, Kimberly Darlene Stone, of LaFayette; sons and daughters-in-law, Allen Henry and Teresa Stone, of LaFayette, Delmos Lee and Amanda Stone, of Rome; grandchildren, Chloe, Abigail and Oliver Stone; sisters, Marzella Klemann, of Chickamauga, Connie Parker, of LaFayette, Glenda Stone and Melissa Pope, both of Chickamauga; brothers, Terry Stone Sr. and Leon Stone, both of Chickamauga; several Nieces and Nephews.The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. today until service time at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
