MONTEAGLE Gwendolyn Kay Ladd, 56, passed away Saturday July 6, 2013 at her home, following an extended illness, surrounded by family.Gwendolyn was born Jan. 31, 1957 to Lawrence and Joyce Kunz Ladd.Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her father Lawrence "Pookie" Ladd; and great-niece Taylor Nicole Wockasen.Survivors include her mother Joyce Kunz Ladd; sister Stephanie (Ricky) Layne; brothers Russell (Linna) Ladd, Marlin (Nancy) Ladd; niece Tonya (Tony) Wockasen; nephew Cody Layne; great-nieces Kendall and Caillin Ladd, Lauren and Emma Wockasen; and companion David Kopek and his children Stephanie and Christopher Kopek.Services will be 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Cumberland Funeral Home.
