Mona Johnson

Mona Johnson passed away on Monday, July 8, 2013, at a local health care facility.She was born on Oct. 8, 1925 in the Blackfox area of Bradley County. Mona was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church and the Sunshine Class where she was very active. She was also on the clean-up committee for her association at HCTA.She was preceded in death by her mother, father and her husband, John K. Johnson; five brothers; and her son-in-law, Jack Winkler.She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Winkler; five grandchildren, Jarrod (Amanda) Winkler, Darla (Jerry) Owens, Stephanie (Berry) Franklin, John Winkler and Ann Winkler; eight great-grandchildren; several sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday July 11, 2013 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.
