Jacquelynn Lankford

ROSSVILLE Jacquelynn Lee Lankford, 61, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending her time working and fellowshipping with her friends at Mohawk Industries in Calhoun, Ga.She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl S. Lankford and Marie Saylors Lankford; loving companion for over 30 years, Herbert Jones; and sister, Connie Owens.Survivors include her two half brothers, Brian (Brenda) Owens, of Ringgold, Ga., and Tony Owens, of Trinity, N.C.; aunt, Patsy Bennett, of Trenton, Ga.; and two uncles, Stanley Tribble, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Tommy Owens, of Chickamauga, Ga. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Brother Tommy Broome officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakewood East Memory Gardens.
