Cleora Welch

Cleora Frances Korstjens Welch, 90, of Collegedale, went to sleep in Jesus Saturday, July 13, 2013.She was born on April 3, 1923 in Los Angeles and lived most of her life in southern California. She had been a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church for almost 67 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Roberta Korstjens; brothers Kenneth and Keith; sons David and James; granddaughter Karen Minner; grandson Greg Molchan; great granddaughters Eden Payne and Zoe Payne; and husband Leon A. Welch, Jr. Survivors include daughters Shirley (Robert) Mulkern, Barbara (George) Molchan, and Vida Welch; granddaughters Jennifer (Jason) Payne, Megan (Addison) Rook, and Katherine (Justin) Partlo; and great-grandchildren Candace, Elizabeth, Rebekah, Ariana, Marrissa, Juliana, Alistair, and Ellis; and great-great-granddaughter Bentlie Rose. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 17, 11 a.m. in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
