Blanche Edwards

Blanche Viola Trowbridge Edwards, 92, of East Ridge, Tenn., passed away Monday July 15, 2013. A Chattanooga resident since 1945, she was a native of Lafollette, Tenn., and was a member of Jones memorial United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Falcom Edwards; parents, Peter Bowen and Hettie Alice Ridenour Trowbridge; son, Dan Edwards and 13 siblings. She is survived by her son, David Edwards (Sherry), of Ringgold, Ga., and Galyn Corhern, of East Ridge, Tenn.; daughter-in-law, Fay Edwards, of Ringgold, Ga.; brother, Kenneth Trowbridge, of Monroe Mich., eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. today at Anderson Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Mark Womack officiating. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold, Georgia.
