Henry Secor

Henry V. Secor died May 5, 2013 in Richmond, Va.He was born Jan. 23, 1934 in Mayfield, Ky.Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Judith Talley Secor; as well as his beloved Duchess III. Mr. Secor grew up in Chattanooga, and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with an advanced degree in Organic Chemistry. He was a senior scientist at Philip Morris, retiring in 1991 after 27 years of service. Also, he was a member of Salisbury Presbyterian Church and Salisbury Country Club. Interment will be at a later date in Chattanooga. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Judith Talley Secor Fund for Animals, c/o The Community Foundation, 7501 Boulders View Drive, Richmond, VA 23225-4047 or any charity of your choice.
