Margaret Gardner

RINGGOLD Margaret Lillian Kittle Gardner, 85, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013. She was born in Ringgold on July 28, 1927 to the late Frank Kittle and Katie Lou Kittle. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Temple in Fort Oglethorpe where she taught a Ladies Sunday School Class for many years. She was extremely proud of her family.She was also preceded in death by her Husband, Charlie Gardner; son, David Gardner; granddaughter, Holly Jean Gardner; and four brothers and one sister.Survivors include her two sons and daughter-in-law, Jerry Gardner, of Laurel, MS, Rev. Bill and Robin Gardner, of Ringgold; four sisters, Doris Parker, of Ringgold, June Dennis, of Atlanta, Polly Colston, of Marietta, Jeanette Wilcox, of Fort Oglethorpe; eight grandchildren, Matt Gardner, Katie Nester, Charlie Ritchey, Jonathan Gardner, Tianna Odegard, Kim Gardner Green, Lisa Gardner Hoyt and Elliott Gardner; several great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. today at the funeral home and prior to the funeral service Monday at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bill Gardner and the Rev. Matthew Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in Anderson Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Homes, Wallis-Stewart Chapel, Ringgold.
