DUNLAP Peggy Merrell Shrum died Thursday, July 25, 2013, while visiting her daughter in Knoxville.She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Chuck" Shrum; son, Terry Shrum; and son-in-law, Ronnie Maples.She is survived by her daughters, Beverly Sue Maples of Knoxville, Lisa (David) Martin of South Pittsburg, Tenn.; sons, Josh Shrum of Whitwell, Tenn., Jeff Shrum of Dunlap, Harold Shrum of Tracy City, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Sue (Bill) Parsons; and brother, Jimmy (Marie) Merrell, all of Tracy City; many beloved nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 2 p.m. CDT on Sunday, July 28.Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, Tenn.The family will receive friends for visitation from 4-8 p.m. today, July 27, at the funeral home.Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.rogersfuneralhome.com.
