Martha Perra

,CHICKAMAUGA Martha Perra, 91, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 26, 2013.Born to George and Irene Jackson on Nov. 30, 1921 in Detroit Mich. She lived in McLemore Cove, Chickamauga, Ga., coming from Miami and then Port St. Lucie Florida. She had been active in the Presbyterian Church most of her adult life.Martha was predeceased by her sister Marian Wagner, of Miami, Fla.; and brother Paul Jackson, of San Marcos, TX; Her husband of 64 years, Philip, passed away in Jan. 2006. Her love lives on through her surviving family, sons and daughter-in-laws Robert Perra of Lorton, Va.; John and Pat Perra of McLemore Cove; Dave and Bobbie Perra of McLemore Cove; grandsons and wives Bruce and Wendy Perra of LaBelle, Fla.; Brad and Kimberly Perra, of Rock Spring, Ga.; Bill and Denise Perra, of McDonough, Ga.; Granddaughters and husbands Mary Alice and Brian Nile of Harrison, ME, and Susan and Richard Sasser, of Choctaw, Okla.; great-grandchildren Kylie and Granger Perra, of LaBelle, Fla.; Amber Perra, of Boone, N.C.; Brittany and Lucy Perra of Rock Spring, Ga.; April and Michael Perra of McDonough, Ga.; Brianna, Brandon and Matthew Nile, of Harrison, ME; and Amaya, Korin and Ian Sasser of Choctaw, Okla.A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Antioch Baptist Church Gymnasium Building Fund, 236 Crow Gap Rd.
