Roy Brock

CHICKAMAUGA Roy Franklin "Bo" Brock, 76, went home to be with The Lord, Monday, July 29, 2013.He was born in Chickamauga, to the late Roy Edgar and Luetta Warren Brock. He was a lifelong resident of the Chickamauga area and a graduate of Gordon Lee High School Class of 1956. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Chickamauga. He was a member and the 1973 Past Master of Crawfish Springs Masonic Lodge F&AM #300. He was a member of The Chickamauga Royal Arch Masons Chapter #99 and member of the Walker Council #24. Charles Martel Commandery #29 Knights Templar. He served in the U.S. Marine Reserves and retired from CSX Railroad after 32 years of employment. He had also worked for The J. Avery Bryan Funeral Home in Chickamauga for several years. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Brock.He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mrs. Shirley Jean Hise Brock, of Chickamauga; daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Jim Boulton; grandchildren, Brooke and Brock Boulton, all of Chattanooga; brother and sister-in-law, Lynn and Sue Brock, of Chickamauga; several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today and Thursday morning prior to the service.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, in the chapel with the Rev.
