Curtis Crowder

Curtis Ward Crowder, 79, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2013. He was a member of Red Bank Church of Christ and a hairdresser in the Chattanooga area for over 50 years. He worked with Inner City Ministry and World Bible School.He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Arlene Crowder; sister, Margie Longacre; parents, Eldon Crowder and Mary Crowder.Survivors include his children, Tammie Crowder, of Lakesite, Lina (Daryl) Arendale, of Hixson and Mark (Debbie) Crowder, of Hixson; eight grandchildren, Zac Crowder, Colby and Carrie Arendale, Caroline Crowder, Kim McNabb, Kristy Wilson, Kelly Finnell and Karrie Harness; and 11 great-grandchildren.Services will be held on at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2013 in the funeral home chapel with Minister Steve Lusk officiating.Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Inner City Ministry in care of Red Bank Church of Christ, 3600 Dayton Blvd, Chattanooga, TN 37415.Condolences and memories may be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
