Margaret StratigosRINGGOLD Margaret Louise Stratigos, 85, passed away Monday June 10, 2013, at a local hospital.A resident of the Ringgold area for over 30 years, she was a longtime member of Ringgold United Methodist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James A. Stratigos Sr.She is survived by her son, James "Jim" (Janie) Stratigos Jr. , of Atlanta; daughter, Kathy (Dwight) Payne, of Chattanooga; sister, Mary Sue Lodwick, of California; two grandchildren, Lauren (Jim) Biehofferand, Andy (Francie) Broome; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be held 4 p.m. today June 13, 2013, at Ringgold United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Purrington officiating.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ringgold United Methodist Church Building Fund.An online register book may be signed at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Wallis-Stewart Chapel, Ringgold.
