Viva Crawley

GRAYSVILLE Viva Alexandria Crawley, 96, died Thursday, June 13, 2013, at his residence.A lifetime resident of Rhea County, she was one of the founders of the Graysville Library and also was very active in the Graysville Community. She was retired from Robinsons Manufacturing after 25 years of service and an independent consultant of Amway, Avon and Watkins Products. She was a member of Mountain View United Methodist Church.She was preceded in death by husband, Lans Crawley; parents, Victor H. and Nola McCabe Welch; one brother; and four sisters.Survivors: daughter, Jo Nelda (Jim) Patton, Graysville; two grandchildren, Craig (Donna) Patton, Marla (Jesse) Messimer; three sisters, Shirley Miller and Nancy Vineyard, both of Chattanooga, Tenn., Arnetta Garmany, of Dayton; one brother Frank Welch, of Dayton; five great-grandchildren, Lauren Nelson, Bailee Messimer, Lans, Riley and Hayla Patton; two great-grandchildren, Bentlee Fullam, Jaxon Nelson; several nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain View United Methodist Church.Service was held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with the Rev.
