Allen Ford

Joseph Allen Ford, 87, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013, in Lenoir City, Tenn.He was the son of the late Martin and Ava Ford and was preceded in death by his son, Joseph A. Ford Jr.; two sisters and five brothers.Mr. Ford was a veteran of the United States Navy having served his country in WWII. He retired, after 35 years, as a sales representative with William H. Rorer Pharmaceuticals.He was a member of St. John United Methodist Church.Survivors include his wife, Wanda B. Ford, of Chattanooga; daughter, Janice Renker, of Knoxville; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and five nephews.Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. today at Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Rev. Dallas Beck officiating.
