ROSSVILLE Judy Kaye Edmondson, 56, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013 at her residence.Known for her infectious smile and sparking personality, Judy was loved by everyone that came into her presence. She was a graduate of Rossville High School and was employed as a hairdresser at Missy's Headquarters for 25 years. Judy was an excellent cook and enjoyed working in her yard. She grew up attending church at Immanuel Baptist Church and attended Temple Baptist Church in Chattanooga for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, C.L. and Bonnie Akers; grandmother, Lorena Long; and sister, Donna Stanfield. We rejoice in knowing that Judy is now singing in that Heavenly choir!Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Lori Edmondson; best friend and companion, Ron Goulart; great-niece, Megan Smiddy; sister, Teresa Smiddy; niece, Cheri Smiddy; great-niece, Bonnie Faye Smiddy; a host of fiends.Memorial services will be held Wednesday, June 26, at 4 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel.
