WHITWELL Steven Neal French, 55, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013.He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Edward French; sister, Tammy Lynn Morrison. Those left to cherish his memories are two children, Justin Neal French, Christina Lynn French, of Statesville, NC; mother, Ruth French; two brothers, Edward (Sandy) French, Glenn (Christy) French of Whitwell; granddaughter, Emma Marie Welborn. Family will receive friends 5-9 p.m. today, June 26, 2013.Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Michael Shrum officiating.
