Aaron Forrest

Aaron Leon "Red" Forrest, of Soddy-Daisy, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 24, 2013. He was 85 years old.Aaron was retired from Norfolk Southern Railway. He served our country in the United States Army as a medic. He was the former owner of Shady Grove Harbor and Forrest Cove Marina and Campground.He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Barbara Brandon Forrest; parents, J.L. and Mary Alice Forrest; sibling and spouses, Floyd (Sallie Ann) Forrest and Loretta (Roy) Patrick.Aaron is survived by his sister, Mary Louise (Charles) Jeffery; brother, J.L. (Ruth) Forrest; and several nieces and nephews.Graveside services for Aaron will be held at 11 a.m. on today at Greenwood Cemetery with the Rev.
