Mickey Wilson

Mickey L. Wilson, 77, a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013.He had worked for Olin Conductors for 15 years and was a self employed carpenter until his retirement. A member of Ridgedale Baptist Church he was a graduate of Central High School Class of 1955 and was an avid sportsman, running track, playing football and being a golden glove boxer.Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Doris Prichard Wilson; son, Mark (Lori) Wilson, Ringgold, Ga. and Tammy (Keith) Dockery, Flintstone, Ga.; six grandchildren, Travis Wilson, Meghan (Chris) Buckner, Mariah (Noah) Wilson, Mandy (Joe) Fortson, Aaron (Evelyn) Dockery and Levi (Ryan) Dockery; four great-grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Ridgedale Baptist Church, 1831 Hickory Valley Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Doug Plumlee officiating.Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.Please share your memories at ChattanoogaEastBrainerdChapel.comEast Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 8214 East Brainerd Road.
